Cool

83-1/2" long center of u-joint to center of u-joint...5" OD Heavy Duty high speed balanced and heat treated 1 pc aluminum from Driveshaft Specialties of Texas..08 ECSB ..I have spun my stock 5" that comes tapered to 4" to over 120 but always had a vibration at 107-ish then one day i stayed in the vibration spot too long and boom there it went.. i have had zero issues with this one pc shaft straight 5" no taper..they said 85" was max they wud go if i remember correct..right now i get a vibration at 115-120 but im not sure if its tires or driveshaft so im not pushing past until i need new tires then im try again and see if it still happens..im pretty sure its the tires

Edit: Max length is 86" @ driveshaft specialties of texas with the 5" HD shaft

Oh I have been 130+ a few times, lol

Drove to corpus and back averaging 100-110, just not sure when it's going to catch up with me

I need one too,I called driveshaft specialists today for a quote but need to make the measurements for it. I lowered my truck and somehow the stock dshaft was rubbing against the xmember holding the gas tank. Name: IMAG1235.jpg

Couple dollars over $700 shipped to my door .. Both front and rear yokes and splicer u-joints all complete.. Stock replacement from dealer was $540 with no yokes or ujoints .. It was a no brainer for me .. IMO

What kind of power are you putting down, and how fast have youve been brave enough to get it to so far? I ask because I might go this route too.

All this drive shaft talk makes me nervous for mine. Still running the stocker and have taken it well over the triple digits many times, pretty sure I have set my cruise control in the 90's for miles before also. Never once vibrates, hiccups or acts weird. Maybe I should invest in a drive shaft loop till I get a custom DS made.

I have a ecsb 09 4x4 and have had it 120+ a bunch of time and no prob

I believe it's a stock one piece

Where do they break?

Seems like most of u guys are either 2wd or crew cab w longer driveshafts. Any ecsb 4x4 guys broke yours?
