It's heavy and weak . . . lol I thought about letting my daughter drive it to school when she gets older. I have been rethinking that because it can't get out of its own way.

My dad gave me his 93 3/4 4x4 Chevy as my first vehicle. It was great. The 350 TBI made it soooooo goddamn slow though. Even worse was I was at altitude in Denver at the time.

I had 2 people rear end me. Both times no damage to me but trashed their cars.

Do it!!!

I flog mine on a daily basis, but I'm pushing a 3200 through to 4000RPM. http://xtremission.com/Videos/stall.mp4

But I can keep up with those pesky Kia cars in 2nd with the TC locked. As long as I don't unlock the TC, I get power to the ground...if I open the throttle enough to unlock I'm spinning 5-6k and dusting the Kia lol.

Thanks for all the replies guys. I guess it really is a matter of preference. I know from my track times that something is still not right because I gained vertually nothing on my 60' or 1/4 times. It feels so soggy to me either off the line or when I unlock it to pass on the highway. And the more throttle I give it the more soggy it feels, like the power is just not being put to the ground.

Sounds like most people are happy with their stalled vehicles so hopefully I can get it sorted and join the group. Maybe I just need more power or gear or both......

Was the tune adjusted for the converter? It could be a drivetrain safety thing in the tune.

Supposedly the tune was adjusted for an aftermarket stall before I even installed one but not sure what all was done. I installed the aftermarket stall and long tube headers at the same time and had the tune looked at again and all was supposedly fine. To me something still doesn't seem right but I guess I wont know for sure until I get tuning software so I can log some WOT pulls and see whats going on. I am working on that for Christmas
