Well a few places I called said that their 60e is strong enough to last and they have over the years build the right set up and combo for the 60e to last

hum.. 2wd?
i would surely look into a 4L80E. I played the 4L60E game for awhile.. it sucked having to pull them out all the time.
my Junkyard 80E has held up way better than all the built 60E's ive had. and tow a whole lot more than im suppose to
If i would have saved all that 4L60E money i could have a really nice stall hahaha

4wd. I run it at the track on 4wd but DD on 2wd. My Tahoe runs mid to low 12s in the 1/4 mile.
So basically RPM is just lying to me when they say that their level 6 trans will last in my setup?

RPM is a great company and many of people around my area run them 5-600 rwhp is nothing new for a 60e my buddys vette put down 1546rwhp thru a rossler 65e. Its all in the builder and the tricks they do to make it work. 80e is the best way to go but there are the few of us out there that just doesnt want to make that swap. just my .02
