with the drill and washers
transmissions dont like heat
especially the stock POS clutches and bands,

put 0tm and some power to it without and it will burn up

the transgo can make it break
but properly setup its more helpful than harmful
So that's the key...."proper" setup. Wonder what that is?

mods in sig!

ive had the hpp3 on the truck with just upped line pressure for about a good 10000-15000 miles. then took out the lin pressure and installed the super servo, had that in for about 5000 miles. now i just installed a the stall, shift kit and nelson's tune. 100% engine tm off and 50% trans tm off. 6000 miles on it.not a problem yet. now my truck isn't my daily driver, so when i do take it out i beat the hell out of it. i now have 100,000 miles on the trans.

now im not saying that your trucks trans will last with it the mods you will have. i just think that i have a trans that was built on a wednesday not a monday.

and trans guys do work magic . the shift kit is as far as i want to go into my trans.

Do your research, and make a judgement call. Remember you have to "pay to play." So if you are going to mod your vehicle or anything, understand that if things break, it's ultimately your fault.
i dont blam myself fo the things that go wrong with my truck. i blame each and everyone on LS1tech. you guys are the ones that gave me this disease

this is how I set mine up with
the 3000 stall
probably not perfect but it dont slip now
and I havent broke anything...yet

sonnax pinless accumulators
stock springs in 1-2 accum housing
vette servo
1-2 .082
the rest .093
no washers
no bands behind servo

shifts nice and crisp now
the 1-2 is a little too much( I wish I wouldnt have drilled it now)
2-3 barely chirps the tires

If I were goin after durability
Id leave a small amount of TM between the shifts
and a little in the shift time table(.1-.2 sec ??)
