Default Any benefit to a CV joint front driveshaft?

The front driveshaft that I bought from Speed Engineering awhile back for my 4L80E swap has a CV joint in it right off the part that goes into the transfer case. I personally don't see a purpose since my transfer case and front diff are all at stock level and the alignment between them hasn't changed. Is there any benefit at all to running a CV joint DS rather than a stock one? I was thinking about trying to sell the CV joint shaft to someone with a lifted truck and getting a stock 4wd 4L80E front shaft from a scrap yard and putting some money in my pocket.
