I remember reading about the issue from a few people with Jakes. I just figured they were the only place I seen thus far that sold a complete kit to rebuild..
Rossler will be getting a call, but i know they are crazy exp.

Rossler is bad MFN *** !!!
Like said earlier , the "build" is attention to details .
Good quality parts and attention to detail make for the best builds.
I don't feel you can beat the factory Borg Warner hi energy clutches , they designed them to take on real world abuse and they do a great job , you can stick alto clutches up your rear because they don't last , I've had them in an my Allison and 60e , never again.

raybestos stage 1 is a good clutch as well. im iffy on alto stuff, but with the right spec and prep they can hold up. you should never build a trans "dry" but alto clutches are VERY sensitive to it in my experience.

I was told several years ago by Zippy that Rossler is the way to go. And that guy knows his ****. If I ever need to go to a built 80e, it will be Rossler or someone local here in Houston. Just because a company's not a big name on a forum or doesn't advertise doesn't mean they're not good.
