Anybody have Baer Alumasports on an 99+ truck?

I love the Baer brakes, but I have nothing to compare them to except stock which they are much better than.

I have the Alumasports in the front and eradispeeds in the rear, just like you are planning. Something I would consider is upgrading the rear calipers to the SS/vho brakes which are 2 piston calipers. Better than stock and way cheaper than the Baers. You could still run the eradispeed rotors if you wanted.

I thought you could run these brakes with 18" wheels slow. Where you the one that mentioned in a previous post that you have to run 20" or larger. I want to do the exact same thing as you. AlumnaSports in front and EradiSpeeds in the rear. I would think that would be a sweet set-up!

Cody,

if you have the wheels your are going to use, go to Baer's website - you can print off a template and to some checking that way, it has measurements on it.

I have about an 1" clearance between my caliper and wheel. So, I think it's gonna be hit or miss with your 18's.

with the baer claw 6 pistons you need a 20 inch wheel, with the alumasport it will clear most 18's
