I have a single disc 3200-3400 on my 65e, from Circle D. All is good.

FYI.. I'm 427 at the rear wheels (DD).

 

i played it safe, contacted chris and his suggested piece is payed for. i'm swinging by circle d on my lunch break today to pick it up. its a 278mm 3000-3200stall.

 

ok, this turned into a journey. i'll try to keep it short and sweet. my trans showed up late after contacting Fedex several times and getting in touch with a customer advocate to help me.

the crate was a disaster and when i first seen it the input shaft was sticking out of the crate. when i opened it up the trans was upside down and scratched to hell and there was a bad inpact mark where the bell housing mates that pushed that surface out.

i was shocked to see the transmission come to me without a bell housing or tail housing. the ad didn't state that so i had to fight mine off the old trans. bell housing was a bitch. then i noticed the shift shaft was too short so i had to open it up and swap that out too.

finally though after a week of hell its in and it shifts great. the seller always had fast responses and i'm unsure if the destroyed crate was his doing or the shippers. i know the transmission was dropped. also description stated a new speed sensor which would have been in the tail housing that wasn't included.

got lots of pics of what i received if anybody wants me to post.

beyond this, my truck is back on the road, shifting great. second gear shift pops the tires loose at about 1/4 throttle. i haven't gotten a full throttle hit yet due to traction but the transmission feels great as of now.
