I just had my nv4500 in my 2500hd get stuck in 5th gear and won't come out. I did a little research and found that it's a common problem for diesel dodges to have this problem but not really any gm unit's and was wondering if anyone had the issue. needless to say it's not going to be cheap to fix and I fried the clutch just getting it home so I guess that is getting upgraded too. sucks because saturday I was going to ripe down the motor for a cam but I think that is going to wait til the rest of this is sorted out. I'm planning on going with the torque king main shaft so it doesn't happen again but that is just 400 by is't self and I might as well replace and sychro's and the like while I have it apart
