Default Anyone Install A Differential Cover Drain Plug

I have access to a machine shop and would like to add a drain plug to my diff cover and am wondering if you guys have done it. Pics?

I'm going to change up to 3.73 from 3.42's and will buy a stock cover and have it ready at the change.

like he said there already is 1, but if you want a plug get a aftermarket chrome cover. mine came with a plug and a stainless plug bolt with a magnet on the end. bad pic but heres mine installed.

I already did. No plug on mine.

Don't want no chrome. Just a stock cover with a plug.

I think that the earlier ones had plugs, mine does. I also have a TA rear diff girdle which has it's own plug also, so I can drain twice as fast lol I'd recommend the TA cover/girdle, it has pre-load bolts which apply 5 ft/lb of pressure on the bearing caps and helps to strengthen the rear. TA also sells rear bearing cap stud kits that are stronger than the factory bolts.

you have any problems with it coming loose and leaking , i heard those have to be re checked like every few weeks because they like to come loose.
