i think im going to run a little 26" tall MT DR and just stick with my 16" wheels... a shorter wheel will use more of my gearing right? I dont need that much sidewall do i? I noticed before with the 26" tall et street that my trap speeds were higher.
The 26" tall tire will give the same effect as steeper gears, so you'll have more acceleration and less top end.

more gear doesnt always mean less top end. all dpends on the combo. some setups wont ever hit high rpms cause they just dont have enough UMPH to get them going

in my buddys camaro..you wouldnt think you could still hit 150 with 456s but you can..a benefit of spining a motor 7k

i have 488s with 30" tall tire i should still hit 130s in 4th
