Default Anyone modified their flip kit

Im thinking of cutting down a MCG flip kit to make the front shorter and the rear longer to make up for the pinion adjustment vs shims. Then weld them to the rearend to make sure they stay put.

Id really like to reweld the leaf perch, but i can not weld very well, nor do i have the tools to do that kind of job yet.

I think it was txsilverado that modified his i cant find crap on his truck as far as those pics if they are even on here.

best thing to do is scrap that flip kit and get new perches to weld on the rearend at the correct angle.

rearend is 3* down trans is 2.5-3* up give or take. pos angle finder i have plays out at about that.

the new perch would require me to pay someone to do it and hope they did it right. if madman was closer id just give him the leaf perch and tell him here fix it
