must be common with DJM flip kits?
I have a 4/5 flip on the CC and have been to 2 places to get the shaft angle corrected.
The last place the guy said any more twist down & the driveshaft would need to be shortened because it was pushing forward into the tranny has he pulled down on the rear end.
I still have a slight vibration when stepping on it between 40-55ish. Those damn DJM flip kits are supposed to have the angle already, that's why they don't send shims (so it said in the kit instructions)

Mcg, Belltech are a cup style flip kit. The DJM (well the new style for my truck) is an adjustable clamp style. Imho its a poor design. It should have been a solid weld with good metal not stitch welded and cheap metal. As "cheap" as i call it...when you tighten the 2 bolts down it draws the top plate into the rearend and the "cup" into the axle. I see they put a "gusset" but that helps none. If it was me i would have made it out of some 4130 or thicker plate atleast.
As for the reason behind me wanting to do a new perch is because i dont like the idea of running 4*+ shims
Im going to bring my truck to a 4wd shop by my house that builds off the wall custom suspension. I know its not a drag racing shop but its the only option i have in the next 2 weeks unless i take off to go to Orange, Tx to see madman

Keniff I know the feeling u have I was having the problem with mine. tried everything to get the vibration I had fixed I normally got shakes at about 70-80 they faded away. Well after I put my 17s back on I have no vibration at All. you could possible having same wheel tire issues I had... Just a thought.
