Default anyone replaced doetsch tech shocks under warranty??

I just pulled mine off my truck and three of the four are dead. They are supposed to have a lifetime warrany. Just wondering if I will have to go thru the retailer or directly thru Doetsch? I got them from sporttruckdirect if it makes any difference.

Damn, that isn't a good sign. I put two on the back, and two new ones are coming for my new 2" drop on the front. This looks bad.

When I was doing research into suspension I heard lots of not-so-good things about Doetsch Tech shocks. The guys at Full Size Chevy told me to stay away.

That's funny, everyone I talked to about DoetschTechs recommended them, at least their nitroslammer series. I had a set on my truck for the last three years with no problems.

I have had these on since March 2002 so almost three years. I loved the way my truck rode and handled when I first installed the Doetsch/Hotchkis combo but in the last year or so the ride has gotten bad and leans more in the corners, classic signs of worn shocks. That is why I decided to pull them off and check them. Bad shocks and stiff springs = really crappy ride.
