Default anyone run the MT 255/50R16 Drag Radials?

thinking of running these instead of the M & H Racemasters 275/55R16's on my stock wheels...found them in stock local...about $20ea less than the Racemasters...should fit as well as if not better...

im coming out of teh hole probably around 375hp and they are hookin at 20psi and about 400-425 on the 1-2 shift with a built tranny it wont bark em.

They are great tires if you can consider the small size. Some people cant go to a 26" tire tho.

what would the reason for not being able to run them be?
I assume too low of a gear? if so...I am running 3.70's...I believe I would be fine...
thanks!

Not calling BS, but how in the world are you claiming between 375 and 425 hp with a 5.3 that only runs 13.7? Unless you have a power adder.....
It's torque that gets you out the hole and barks tires. HP comes with more rpm's.

I've never compared the two, but I've used the mt already and they are very good tires. A lot of guys around here run them.

Where in the WORLD did I say it was an all N/A motor? Yes I would say im pushing that much out of my 5.3l. 13.7 was with a 2.6 60' on street tires with an 11.4 in the 1000ft. I have since dropped 1.4 off my 1000ft times but not ran at a 1/4 track. And yes Those numbers are wtih a 125 shot of nitrous, with 45% out of hte hole.

Didn't mean to get your panties in a knot. I simply asked a question. AND if you would have read correctly before you got all PO'd it says, "unless you have a power adder..."
