i am at my wits end with it. i found a bad rubber seal on my servo the other day. waiting for the new one to get here. i am hoping that the bad seal is what was causing it to not shift into od. but i am sure my luck won't be that good.

Goshawk,
You still running stock cam? If so, upgrading to a larger cam that pushes the powerband up to higher RPM's would help you in the starting box, most of your power won't kick in til you're climbing rpms and already out of the box. IMO I'd stick with 4.10's. I had 3.90's in my 04 Sierra and wish I had 4.10's. Go with more tire and that will help out too. But too it just depends on what you are going for, but if you are planning on upgrading to a more high end cam, 4.10's are the way to go.

i'm hoping it is the seal.
as far as the cam goes, i am running a 00 Y body cam. which for all intents and purposes is a great cam for mild setups. i am however cam shopping. been really too busy to call and get a price on a cam from futral but here in the near future i will be getting me a new grind. something rather large but then again, i am going to go with allens recommendations
