Default Anyone running a 3600 stall for a DD?

I havent got my cam specs yet but its a streetsweeper style cam. Wanted to know if anyone is driving a mild cam, 3600 stall for there daily, and how they like it/drivability wise. I have a 05 SSS and have a heavy foot but i like to cruise around. Truck makes about 20 +/- 1/4 mile passes. Any comments would be helpful, Thank you

i hada 4500 and 4.30 gears and could have daileyed it. do you drive more bumper to bumper or more freeway? i always liked locking my converter at 40mph but most people like locking them a little higher.

Gearing and weight depends on alot how the stall reacts. Believe it or not but my 3200 acts like a 3400+ stall...

If I did it again I would have went with a 3600 over my 3200.

This will be my first stall. I have always owned 5-6spd cars so its very knew to me. Would a larger stall act smaller with my truck being awd. I am getting my cam specs tomorrow and plan on e-mailing Circle-D after. But i have found a couple used single and triple disk 3600 stall circle-d's. I pretty much have $700 to spend.

circle d converters run tight when cruising. ive driven 3600 converters that acted way looser than my circle d 4500.

3600 is very common. Add a big cooler and get a good tune and you will be fine. They are a blast to drive and great at the track.
