A few months old kinda but i want to know if we can just send them a flip kit plate for our trucks and have them drill/design one strictly for the gmt-900 plateform vs us working our *** off to get it to fit? Id be willing to pull my rearend apart to give all of us a better fitment

https://www.performancetrucks.net/fo...l-08-a-497928/

This is a very good link for you to check out to see what issues the gmt-900 platform 2007+ guys are having.

https://www.performancetrucks.net/fo...-heavy-500496/

This one is for the 99+ gmt-800 platform trucks.

I would be willing to ship you my flip kit plate (labeled left and right) so we can cut down on atleast 1 task of making them fit

Let me know what you think

I went ahead and emailed them at SRD to see if we can get this flip kit version revised....what do yall think?

Well so far no email back....imma give it a few days then ill call them. Its not like im looking for a discount at all. I just want to make it easier on us, and i want to be able to do very little work to install them. Cutting the leaf down thats a given, but cutting holes out and redrilling center hole sucks for those who have limited tools. If thats the case, why not just send us the lower plates with no holes and let us drill them out ourselves? I dont want a ton of slack in my leaf spring pin, nor my u-bolt holes. I want to make sure the mount is inline with the bar so there is no weird offsets on 1 bar and the other bar is straight.

I guess im just talking outta my *** i dunno

Yeah it doesn't matter which plate i send them as long as i tell them front and back, right? Their bracket goes one direction so you'd want your leaf pack bolt to be right vs having a chance of it being backwards or having to drill a new hole?

I have a drill press at work, an a ton of other tools but id rather the kit be made around the DIY garage guy that may not have access to a drill press or a mic and so forth.

If they dont email me back by friday, ill call them monday to see whats up.

Yes sorry there is the front back orientation. Hopefully your u bolts aren't rusted to **** like mine were. Had to cut them off. And it would not be easy modifications without a milling machine. Drill press wouldn't help you with the u bolt holes because they needed to be slotted longer
