Yep, it is "attached" to the the Gear Selector shaft on the driver side of the trans, just move the linkage and I think one bolt and it slides off the shaft... yea, i have heard the plugs are glued in before but, it don't matter since the wires are gonna get cut anyways to splice them to the clutch switch and such...

Damn, that sounded a little naughty! LoL

ok, i have a coupple of problems..

my speedo does not work at all.. i took the plug from the 4l60 and plugged it in the t-56 and it does not work.

I also have 2 pink wires on my 4l60 connector.

I cannot get my reverse lights to work, i connected the ltgreen to the switch on the trans and i connected the grew wire to power and the other wire on the connector of the trans.

Also i cannot start the truck with the yellow wire grounded.. so i have it hooked up to nothing...

Any help would be appreciated,

thanks,
Keith

Sorry to revive an old thread, you still got info on that 2006 wiring? I tried to message you, the forum wouldn’t let me for some reason, I could shoot you my email if you do still have it. I know it was awhile ago but any info would be helpful. Thanks!
