Default awd swap to 4x4

Bedsides in the transfer case... doesn't the 4x4 systems have another spot to disconnect the drive terrain. The older trucks had those manual hubs...

I would like to believe swaping out my awd t-case for a 4x4 case would be all I need but I think I am missing a key part of the 4x4 system.

I was considering the same conversion at one point and decided against it. After talking to Rick @ Synergy about how much harder the AWD trucks launch than the 4WD, I put that idea to rest.

I figured as much because this truck jsut goes when I boot it. Why I want to switch out is to lose traction. I miss being able to steer with the throttle in snow/rain/all low traction situations. This winter I missed going around the corners with the back end out, etc. And now that I have all this power I can have fun in good weather if I had 4x4.
