Default AWD T-Case?

Hey guys, I found a Silverado SS AWD T-case for sale, has 100 or so miles on it. Now this is mated to a 4L60E, and I currently have a 4L60E in my truck with the push-button NP T-case. Are these things basically interchangable? Just one is full-time and one isn't? I'm thinking about picking it up to slap in my truck. Any info would be great

I don't think so, I know it will bolt up and you may beable to use some of the parts out of it, I'm not sure on the electronic end of it, but I don't see why it wouldn't work for a direct swap.....by why?

PM turboberserker. I am not too sure about that. What is the model # of the SS TCase. I was under the impression the Tcase on the SS was backwards. On the other side. I never researched it though.

hmmm....****edit****
