Default Axle wrap and Lakewood bars?

I have a bad case of axle wrap. Everytime I stop the pumpkin falls and so forth. Well Iput 2" lowering shackles on yesterday, and im awiaiting lakewood traction bars to come in. Will these bars completely get rid of my axle wrap? Any thing else I can do to get rid of it?

2000 RCSB 5.3l silverado. Stock 10 bolt with G80 and 4.10 gears.

I have Lakewoods and they DO help... dont expect to use the U-bolts that come with it though. I took some angle iron and all-thread and fabbed up some adjustable brackets with it. I only dropped $40 for my set and I saw some improvement. the cal-tracs were a little more than I wanted to pay at the time. I still spin some but the axle wrap/hop is gone. If you have any questions on how to make those brackets just PM me and I'll see if I can explain it better for you... its SUPER easy though...

Not to steal the thread or anything, but what is Axle wrap and what are you describing as the "pumpkin falling" When i stop my truck feels like it downshifts rather hard and shoves me foreward. It only happens when i have to stop normally but when i gradually come to a stop it doesnt happen. I always thought that it was the damn transmission. Maybe not. Thanks guys.

axile wrap is your springs in the rear end twisting into a "S" on initial takeoff. it binds up then sorta snaps loose breaking traction possibly starting wheel hop.
