yeah i've been pondering this same idea recently using these...

yes, they should clear.

a stock 16x7 wheel has a 5.2" bs and +31mm offset.
so from this, you still have about an inch untill it would come in to contact with the bango bolt.

Thanks, 2nd question. Would 285-60-16 fit on those wheels with a DMJ 4-6 drop?

maybe others with a 4/6 drop may chime in but with that tire size being 29.4" tall, i wouldn't think so.

I realize that this setup will be strictly for the truck, but they will still stick out over an inch past the fenders won't they?

you mean just for the track? yeah, that's what they'll be for.
i just did a couple of measurments eyeballing it. your right, looks to be that they'll stick out around 1" past the fender. that's with taking into acount the 325's buldging out.

i think i can deal with 1" sticking out better than 2 or 3.

Ive had my stock 16 inch wheel widened 2 inches on the inside and have no clearance issues with hitting the banjo bolt... I guess cause i have suburban rear brakes the bolt is in a different location... Ill take some pics tomar of the rim and the clearance. Rims go perfect with 28x12.5x16 mt et streets..

Think those tires will even fit under there.
You only have somewhere's around 12" under the fender to play with.

You could use a 12" wheel with 6.75" bs and should clear the leafspring, but..... it will stick out 2"+ beyond the fender. A section width of 14.8" is a lot of tire.

I don't know how low your truck sits but will you have enough clearance for the wheel/tire to stick out an inch and not rub on the fender lip when you launch off the line?
