BAD rear axle hop.
When I punch it, and it breaks the rear tires lose; the rear end starts bouncing like hell.
What is causing this???
Will traction bars or ladder bars fix this??
What have some of ya'll done to fix this on your truck?

Either put some spring clamps on or buy ya some bars from Calvert Racing which is what I have but also have seen spring clamps work also for alot less. Whats happening is youre spring are binding like an S causing the wheels too hop.

A really inexpensive, effective way to stop that is Hellwig traction springs from JC Whitney. I am cutting 1.61 60's on 9" slicks with the original 64,000 mile shocks in my Dakota. They don't hang down like traction bars, and go undetected to the untrained eye.
