bad vibration!
A lil info on my setup. I have a rcsb 2000 model that i swapped a 80e into. I cut the crossmember and moved it back like everyone else. Well, since thin i have lowered it 5/8 Via coils, spindels, and flip kit and shackels in rear. Well before the extra 3 inches in the front and the shackels i had bad wheel hopp. Well i put the truck up for a couple months and in the meen time i installed the coils and shackels. Well i noticed that my pinion angle was upwards in the rear. So i installed 6* shims which fixed all wheel hopp. Now, it had a serious vibration. Found out the tailhousing bearing was bad and had play in the yoke. Well, i installed a new bearing/seal. Since the bearing went bad it messed up my yoke. So, i borrowed a drive shaft from JB. It is a stock unit with a high dollar forged yoke. Well this helped alot with the vibration. Almost fixed it. Well went for a cruise today and noticed it kinda gets to roaring and vibrating and gets louder and louder with speed. Sounds like lock up Or like a jake break on a 18 wheeler when decellerating. IT starts at 60mph. I currently run 4.56s/ 4000 ftl converter. Thin i read that it may have something to do with trans angle. So i raised the trans a inch and that helped move the vibration up in mph some, and made the drive shaft look pretty straight but it is still down some. i run a polyurethane trans mount also. O yeah, was looking over JBs u-joints and noticed that the front one was really stiff like. It was really tight and wouldnt flex alot. Maybe this could be the problem?
Sorry for all the mumbo jumbo. Kinda hard to explain. Thanks guys!

ok changed the u-joint with no success. Same vibration. Just ordered an angle finder to see where im at. I know u should shoot for -2,-3 on the pinion angle but what about trans and drive shaft? Do u check this with the suspension loaded or unloaded?

ok guys here is the update on where it sits right now. 0* on the driveshaft and +1* on the pinion. But before i had the pinion at -6* with around +4 on the driveshaft, which the trans was raised also. Gonna order a 4* pinion shim. Still no luck with this vibration. Try swapping tires tommorrow.
