Default Baer Alumasport help needed.

I'm about to install Baer Alumasports on the front and rear of my 2007 Avalanche. I need to choose a set of pads for the front and I don't know which direction to go.

The trouble I'm having is that these are basically Corvette/XLR calipers and all of the performance pads available are for much lighter cars. For example, you can only get 2000 series EBC greenstuff pads, not the 6000 or 7000 series designed for trucks. Same with redstuff pads, the alumasport pads are recommended for performance imports.

What front pads are you running with your Alumasport calipers?

I think they're basically Chrysler 300C pads...U can call Baer and Hawk too and they'll sell u theirs.
PS: ask SuperSub

There are plenty of performance car pads that fit but since I've got a 6000lb truck (and often tow a 8000lb trailer) I'd really like to get a pad designed for a truck. I guess there really is no such thing.

I'll send SuperSub a message, thanks.

I have the same truck, but dont tow too much anymore. When I bot my Baer 6P fronts they asked what they were going on and I just assumed they put appropriate pads in for me. As for my Alumisport RR's...I bot them new /used and just used the pads that were on there. I'm no expert, but I'll tell u that no matter what pads u use they'll stop so much better u wont know the diff except they'll wear quick. I'd just call Baer...SuperSub's gonna tell u same as I did I'd bet. R/
