Default balljoint ?

I just finished with the shackles and hangers out back! Now for up front when i put my new DJM lower control arm on how far do i run my balljoint nut on? Is there a torque value or rule of thumb I should go by? the directions say nothing and the tech line only open like 9-5 m-f any help or sugestions would be great thanks guys

It has torque spec but I don't a manual handy right now.

just tighten the castle nut until it is just above hole in the middle of the balljoint shaft that the cotter pin goes through.
