Default belltech 2" drop hanger problem

i installed some belltech 2" drop hangers on my 07 silverado classic and the space that the front of the leaf spring goes into the hanger seems too big. when i tighten the front pivot bolt the hanger is bending inward because of the extra space. anybody with belltech hangers notice this? should i go ahead and tighten it all the way? instructions say 142 ft lbs. i dont want to break the hanger.

mine do the same.
just don't tighten them as much.
or you can put washer or two between the hanger and spring.

Question

Are you really supposed to tighten the leaf spring perch bolt at the hanger to 140+ ft. lbs??? I would have never thought that much.
Going back to stock hangers & shackles and that would be very helpfull to know.
Anyone know the actual torque rating of the shackle bolts after suspension is loaded??
