Default Belltech shackle adjustable?

I remember people talking about that but when I went to install the shackle 1 bolt hole down from the full "2" drop the flange was in the way. Do people trim that flange to change the drop from left to right?

Thanks,
Andrew

Cool

I had mine adjusted 1 hole different side to side for a while. I am not sure what you mean by the flange being in the way. You should not have to trim anything. Maybe just flip the shackle 180* so the flange (?) is no longer in the way.

Yeah, I'm an idiot. I originally installed the shackle backwards (shackle plat facing forwards) and it wouldn't adjust. Then I realized that I had it backwards and flipped in to the correct orientation and didn't check again. Duh. Sorry for the stupid question and thanks for the response to jog me out of the idiot cloud I was stuck in.

my stock ones had the plate aka the flat part of the "c" facing the front so thats how I did the Beltech, using the top hole thou, I would think you could use the next lower hole if you put the open side foreward??? I didnt have instructions so I wouldnt know what Beltech says.

Yeah, belltech instructions show the "open" part facing forward, so the plate is at the rear of the truck. Haven't gotten back down there to look.

I had to trim mine or the spring eye hit the back of the shackle. Took off about 1/2 inch.
