Thumbs up Belltech Street Performance Shocks

I had some crappy shocks that came with my drop kit for the longest time. The roads in the northeast suck really bad. So I decided to purchase the new shocks that Belltech has out. All I have to say is, wow. It made a huge difference. It is still a dropped truck, but it is much more comfortable to ride in. So if you are thinking about buying these shocks, I think it is a good investment.

I am still amazed on how much better my truck rides on these Street Performance shocks. Belltech did good with these.

I bought a set based on your recommendation and I love the way my truck rides with them too.

Stiffness? I'd give them a 6 or 7. They are firm but not rough. They seem to dampen the shock of road hazards well but not ride like a skateboard. Where before i would change lanes to avoid rough areas of road where I used to cringe I now just relax and glide over them. I still hit the stops in the rear when taking a hard hit but that is more a matter of the 4" drop.

im scared to trust belltech again with shocks after getting screwed over with the ones i bought, however they are sounding like a good set of shocks from what you guys are saying

what size tires are you running sleek? do you have any rubs or bottoming out issues with those tires?

I bought my shocks from Stylin Concepts. see sponsor -------------->

I am running Toyo Proxy S/T 275/40/20 and I havd to roll the passenger side fender. No rubbing at all. I also put the shock extenders on the rear since I have a 4/6 drop. That seemed to help a lot too.

The shocks really do take the harshness out of the road. The truck really holds the road like before, but I have a much more comfortable ride.
