The stock ones are 2x as long and I had to cut them in half when I did the drop. The control arms are supposed to just kiss the stops, the stops are a part of the suspension. With the new bumpstops the downward travel is slowed in a controlled. manner Although I was ok with the stock stops cut in half these ride a lot better.

oooh ok . i removed my front bump stops because there were touching. i thought that would make it ride worse if they were touching. so should i put them back on then??

As torsion rods have a very linear spring rate, bump stops are used to provide a more progressive spring rate as the suspension reaches the limit of its bump travel. Notice how the factory bump stop just contacts the lower control arm at stock height
