Default Best differential trutrac vs locker

Im seeing to different types of differentials. Trutrac and the worm locker. Which is best for dd, and street racing/ strip? Truck finally paid for, finally time to have fun!!!

I'd recommend Trutrac for DD/strip use. Lockers generally work better off road but can be annoying when cornering. Everything I researched before I bought mine said that a Trutrac is a do it and forget it mod.

Is there a reason why you thought this other than reading on here that some members use them?

I have always been happy with the Eaton LSD. Very good performance, strength, and rebuildable. On my 2001 ECSB, I was talked into trying the TruTrac. It's okay, but the Eaton LSD is more predictable (does the same thing every time), and I like the Eaton better. I won't buy another TruTrac when this one wears out...

Used one on my Lightning a few years ago. It wasn't noisy. I figured something without wearable parts would be the best
