Default Best locker for stock 10 bolt...

So I decided to keep my 10 bolt and just get a good locker. I'm just not sure which one to go with. The truck is daily driven and is putting down over 600 at the tires.

No sorry needed. Back to your thread. I only dealt w/. stock G80s thus far. But my 89 rear will be gettin an upgrade to a Truetrac a.w.a. the 04.
There was a post on this not too long ago; I posted in it too. Search & read; good stuff. My summary of what I read in that one, IIRC.

If u what to rebuild every 12k, go w/. a Eaton LSD. They are rebuildable/ upgradeable, & u gotta put in additive. So ya, more maintenace.
TrueTrac, put it in & go. I think I read change fluid every 50k. In short, less maint. That's my interpretation, to each his own. As to which is stronger, not sure. You know, pros/ cons to all in life.

I think from the discussions we've had here recently, the eaton LSD is theoretically a little better overall than the trutrac. However, both are proven and the trutrac is a little more popular (and cheaper too). I really like my trutrac, it's dead silent and performs flawlessly and I've yet to see anyone on here complain about theirs.

My truck went down the track sideways trying to go full throttle off the line, so no I don't think the limited slip helps in that regard.
