Default Best posi?

Well I blew the rear end out of my truck yesterday. It put two holes in the cover and when I pulled the cover all kinds of parts came out. It took chunks out of the pinion, ring gear, spider gears etc.. and broke the carrier in half. Looking for a posi carrier to put back in it. It had the factory gov-lock. What do you recommend for a carrier? I have been looking at Auburn and the Yukon brands, any difference far as quality and strength?? Thanks

I use my truck for daily driving and no off road use at all. I will occasionally lite the tires up and smoke a few diesels with it, but looking for something that will handle the power. Thanks for the responses so far.

Many are beginning to use the Valuetrack from Ron's. Same as a TruTrac, but without the name brand price mark-up.

Just got done looking at the Value trac(Truetrac) and they do not recommend tires larger than 31". I have 33"-13.50-20's on my truck. So i am thinking that it will not work for me. Been really looking into the Yukon Dura grip. Any info on that???? It has the 4320 internals and it's rebuild able too. Thanks for the info.

Yukon DuraGrip is a nice piece. You can't go wrong with it.

I would like to run the Trutrac, but since I have the 33's on it they do not recommend it. I like the price tag!

In my k5 blazer i am running a true track in my front axle and a locker in the rear. i am running 37 inch super swampers for 2 years now with no problems . The true track is rated for 33s . the value track might be rated for 31s ??
