Not sure exactly what that is but you should not need it. Appears to have a sensor on it. Its possible on the Tahoe's they felt they needed to lower the pressure because of the weight difference and the shorter wheel base so they may have added a proportioning valve or a residual pressure valve.
If it's free and they are not going to charge extra, Then take it. If you feel your Brakes are not working properly the try adding it.

Willhorne22, if youre doing this much brake work, might i suggest going ahead and getting the line kit from gm if you haven't already... Especially if your lines are rusted......

I'm going to be doing the hydro boost swap and (Russell 695760 Stainless Steel Brake Hose) install at the same time and then be done with the brakes hopefully.
