Default best shocks

I've posted this on 3 other sites and nobody could give me any good answers.

My toxics shocks are really getting to me, you can feel every little bump in the road and it makes driving the truck miserable. What are the best shocks for a 2/4 drop. I don't want to spend more than say, $250 total

I've had several guys say the Edelbrock shocks were really nice. Which ones were better, the Nitro Active or the Edelbrocks.

I like your truck. I had the same truck for about 5 years. I miss it.

Not to hijack the thread, but does anyone have any experience with the Bilsteins? Any info on those would be appreciated...
