Default Best transfer case for 1000+ awd hp

Hey there, I am building a 98 s10 ext cab 4wd truck with a forged 376, w pt8891 turbo, iron front diff with LSD, Built rear ect. This will be a street/strip truck and it will have a built 4L80e trans. My plan is to build an awd drag truck that can still handle pretty well if needed be. Im trying to figure out which transfer case would be best for this build. Here are the options that I know of

BW 4472: From the GMC syclone/typhoon. Viscous coupling awd case seems to hold up really well, I know of at least one guy pushing around 1400hp through one in a syclone drag truck

NV149: Came in different fullsize awd pickups including the silverado SS. I hear really good things about them and people making big power with them but nothing near 1khp. Similar viscous coupling type like the 4472 I figured it should be more heavy duty being it came from a full size.

NV120/Torsen T3: Came in awd TBSS' seems like an awesome case on paper being torsen type and seems functionally superior to any viscous coupling type case but I haven't been informed of people doing anything crazy with them. Would really like to learn more about these and see what their upper limits are.

Selectable 4wd case: Haven't ruled this out yet, I realized it could have an advantage in pure drag racing being able to switch back to 2wd after the launch but I wouldnt be able to get the handling benefits of awd.

Im looking to get some input about stories and experiences with these cases in high hp applications or any other options that might fit the build. Thanks

I would also like to hear input on this. I believe there were people pushing the NP149 pretty hard, but can't remember names.

Do you know what was done to the BW4472 to make it handle that type of power?

I use a stock np261 above that power level with no problems.

Iron front diff eh? Whats your plan for that?

I have no idea, they call him mr syclone and he's out of sweden, supposedly its a 4L80 married to a stock BW 4472.

Is the 261 selectable 4wd though? How well does that work and what do you primarily use your truck for?

Only certain 5 speed ZR2 s10's came with the cast iron front diff, its identical to the standard aluminum one but way stronger.

I believe that is Casey Rance...he is, or used to be, on this forum.

The np261 is the manual selectable one, the one that came stock in z71s. I use it for drag racing and hauling my lawn mower.

I wonder how much difference there is between that diff and the stock 1500 one....do you have an RPO code or part number for it?

Id be willing to bet mr syclone has some billet stuff in that BW unit.. Id suggest a selectable unit, would be nice to be able to warm up the tires and then engage. There a few people running them with big power like mr smarty pants^, but you wont be able to switch out of 4wd under power..

Here is what it looks like, same as the aluminum one, same 7.25 ring gear, I had guy make mine a custom clutch type LSD for it as well. RPO: UR4 G 208 1 09
Part# 26054448

Well then the question is how does that compare to the silverado aluminum 8.25" one...
