You can always make a sign and a big stink in front of his shop until he gives in? I've actually seen that work.

There's a truck running around my area that has a huge magnetic Lemon on his tailgate that says something like "5 rearends replaced in 8 months and Ford says it's normal". I've seen him a few times, so I'm not sure that his campaign is working.

the shops usually dont warranty broke parts...only manufactured defective parts....lucky you got them to rebuild it the first time and not want some money for it....good luck to ya anyways...

Wow.... $3500??? That would've covered an FLT L5 with change left over. I know of one in Louisiana that's been beat on like crazy, and no problems to date.

Get your lawyer involved. I would. That's not necessarily a small dollar amount for a poor guy like me. Never hurts to get legal advise, until the hourly rate kicks in.

First I would ask them if there using aftermarket planets! (JUNK). If their not NEW GM planets like we use then that could be one possibility. 2nd ask them to check and flush your cooler properly to make sure it's not restricted causing lack of cooler flow which is your lube oil for the trans. If the planets or other hard parts look discolored from excessive heat then my 2nd question is my vote. Good luck.

dude that's a lot for a rebuild only to have it fail later on, keep after them. If it's already apart, take pictures of broken warn parts, get an parts list written up and get a second opinion, and you might have to get a lawyer involved.
