Didn't know it was the drone you were concerned about, but glad to have helped.

I want to move this heavy truck off the line faster. It's a little slower to respond off the line with the 24's on it so, I figured a gear change would counteract the wheel size increase. Gas mileage is not that big a deal, from what I read it's only a 1 or 2 mpg difference. At the same time I don't want to be running high rpm's at freeway speeds (70+)
Short answer: More grunt off the line and maintain some what stock rpm at 70+

4:10's will do it. When I switched, the 4.10's felt much more athletic than the 3.73's I had. I have 32" tires as well. I would rather have a taller 4th gear though(like the 4l60)

I think with your 32" tires and your 4th gear, thats about perfect.(4.10's)

Don't kidd yourself about highway driving though, if you think it will bother you spinning a little higher, it probably will.

that said, my vote is 4.10's.

I have the 4:10's Eaton and bearing kit all in the garage. Just have find time to install or pay someone to do it. I'll post up when I get them and tell ya what I think. Thanks for the help.
