I wouldn't run anything larger than a 29" tall tire and maybe a 29.5". I wouldn't consider running a 275/45/20 speaking from personal experience. Something like a 275/40/20(Like said) or 255/45/20 would be a good size to run.

I gotta be honest man. I'm skeptical. I ran 20x8.5s with 6" of backspacing and they would have tucked on a body dropped truck, but a 275/45/20 was too big up front.

You aren't talking about your truck now are you? Your 4/6 sits really really high compared to mine when it was a 4/6.

It varies from truck to truck, but short answer is that for most trucks they will rub.

well i guess it depends on the truck and the application, spindles seem to pull the wheels in more than control arms, so idk if it will work on the op's truck or not, just stating what worked for me...

I hear ya man, the only reason why I said I was skeptical is that didn't you cut some stock coils? I've done it before too, but that's not the most accurate way of dropping your truck.

im running 275/45/20 and im starting to rub through my front liners. not a whole lot but enough. i doubt you can run a 45 series on a 5" drop up front.

I have a 275/45/20 on my 4/6 dropped truck. and rub every now and then, nothing major. i wouldnt run a 275/45/20 with a 5" drop in the front.
