im running 275/45/20 on the front, and 295/45/20 on the back with a 4/6 drop, with no problems at all, ever. im sure i could run 305's in the back with no problems.

I run 275 40 20 up front and 295 35 22 in the rear. No rubbing. I have the hotchkis setup all the way around.

i also run a 305/40/20 on the rear with a 8.5 wide wheel, no interference issues at all

Are your insane?

1) How do you even fit a 305/40 on an 8.5 rim.
2) If I ran the store, I wouldn't allow such an unsafe condition to be mounted.

research my son research.....it doesnt stick out much as you would think. its clearly in its limits. they are Nittos....this size tire is for a 9" rim. so before you go questioning and saying you wouldnt allow it, do some searching first

if you think thats large how about a 305 on a 7" rim....did that with a free set of BFG sport truck tires years ago, which allowd a 1.98 60' with stock stall and stock motor


heres a pic of the truck you can see they arent that bad
