Default blew 4l65e built...

hey guys,,, i just blew my built 4l65e tranny. cast around billet servo completely broke off from tranny and leak tranny fluid all over highway!!!
i looking for stock 4l80 swap or stock 4l65e...PM me if anyone has stock 4l65e tranny..

Ouch, tough luck guy.

Hate to say this, but it sounds like whoever built the trans didn't put the snap ring in correctly. That's usually the only time the case housing around the servo breaks.

Get a new case and swap all the guts over to it, they all should be fine. And if you mean billet servo as in the superior super servo, throw that crap away and get the corvette or sonnax 2nd servo... the superior servo just tears stuff up. It's too rough.

Yep, sounds like the snap ring wasn't seated. I would go vette and Sonnax 4th servo.

How long have you had the trans and who built it? I would contact them to see if they are willing to do anything for you here. Vince
