Hey everyone, Im looking for a direct bolt in tranny cooler that will increase the cooling capacity. I would love to have a trucool, but I dont have time or the chance of something going wrong to redo plumbing and all that. Does anyone know of a direct fit that is better for cooling? thanks!

Yea, there will be some minor fabbing involved, won't be plug and play. The factory cooler lines clip in while larger aftermarket coolers have threaded ports. You can get the factory style fittings to screw in to a factory cooler, but you will have to bend/move the lines and fabricate some form of brackets...

Well I just got orders to galveston and it was unexpected, Im going to be towing a 7x14 enclosed trailer and I bought a camper and my truck will be pretty loaded down. I leave at the end of the month so I really dont have time to do all the plumbing for new lines getting everything else done in 3 weeks so I was hoping someone would know of a plug and play cooler or something.
Not pulling a trailer just cruising around my temp is right around 200 on warm days, and stays around 170 or so on cold days. Pulling a trailer on the same drive last time it was still around 200 but that was in the fall and this drive will be during the summer. I bought a scanguage so I can get more accurate, faster readings than the gauge cluster but I really dont want to get myself into trouble with anything if you know what I mean

Alrighty well I bought a procomp 8" fan that I will mount to the factory cooler and see how that helps. It doesnt help that most of the cooler is behind the chevy symbol and doesnt receive as much air as it should IMO so Ill let you guys know how it works
