Jake's sound good, but that's out of my range. I will keep them in mind if this one goes down the road.
4L80E time fellas. Damit you've talked me into it. Going to start shopping now, I've read the stock 4L80E is good for 600whp so I think I'll be fine for a while if I get a decent one and do the transgo HD2. I have to get a parts list together and contact BlackBear to see if there's an extra charge to go to the 80 in the tune.
Thanks for all the help

I built a TH350 for my K5 Blazer because I wanted cheap and strong transmission and couldn't get my hands on a TH400, but now I regret not rebuilding my spare 4L80E, as it wouldn't have been very expensive now that I have hindsight LOL

K5 huh?? I miss mine. 8" with 38.5 SuperSwamper. Mine was a 89. I beat the mess out of that thing. It had a 700r4 too and never gave me an issue. Imagine that.

Now I think that truck deserves an LQ4 to go with my TH350 and my 6.2 gets mated to a 4L80E and I try to drop it in my brothers 97 S10. I can see hitting 30MPG with the right setup in that truck.
