Default Boost bypass kit for Vacuum Mod 4l60e

Looks like I'm going the STS route. I currently run a vacuum mod on my truck. I've read I need to install the boost bypass kit to go along with my Vacuum Mod kit. My question is, is it a tough install and can I do it with the trans in the truck?

Thanks,
Mark

If you run a vacuum modulated setup already, i believe the only difference is putting a check valve in the tube running down to the little vacuum pot in the tranny so you don't run postive pressure into it. Same as how theres a check ball installed between the brake vacuum boost pot and the manifold so you don't pressure it up when u go positive manifold psi. Get a new pcv valve too and make sure it seals from positive pressure if its not supplied.

Sweet, I wasn't sure if it was a check valve or something the transmission. Thanks for the response man. That eases my mind.
