Did you check your brake fluid?

Check the brake fluid level in the reservoir first, if it is low it will throw the light on. Also, if it's low, it's an indication that the brake pads have worn pretty low and should be checked, provided there are no leaks.

You probably got a leaking wheel cylinder, being you have drums in the rear. Check for fluid leaking on the inside of your back wheels.
