If your not replacing the rotors, be sure to have them resurfaced. Just because they look good to you by eye, doesn't mean they are perfectly smooth. New pads need a fresh surface to seat and break in properly.
If you have a little more $$$ to spend, I'd go with the Power Slot rotors for an exact replacement rotor.
I had very good luck with the Hawk pads and Power Slot rotor combo.

Performance pads usually do have a squeak to them. Most of the time when your rotors get blued (from heat soak) or glazed over, they will squeak until you resurface them.

Yeah, I know all about rotors. I have a new pair of fronts sitting in a box waiting for me to choose pads. The rears are definitely fine. The front pads aren't even worn bad, the rotors are warped though which is why I'm going through this. I'm going to go with the Hawk Ceramics and hope for the best. Thanks guys.

For what it's worth, I've run slotted and dimpled and everything else under the sun on my car (95 Impala SS, not as heavy as the truck, but by no means a lightweight) and have NEVER seen any measurable difference in my times on the roadcourse or the AutoX track...only in the amount of cash left in my wallet. Biggest gains there are in the pad compound choice, and like I said, this is a daily driven street truck, and I don't push it hard at all, plus with the 4L80E and 4.10's it slows itself down pretty good anyways...it only has to work hard when I tow, and thats not very often...I drive my car MUCH MUCH harder than the truck.

I run 22's on my truck and am going to need brakes again in the near future. I've had them done twice now on 120,000km anyone recommend anything that will last longer and stop better? looking for a direct replacement rather than an aftermarket big brake kit, I still run stock rims in the winter.

Power Slot rotors and Hawk Performance brake pads.
