brake pads SUCK...

it stops very well. plus I have slotted and drilled rotors... so....
but I drive it every day, and get so damn tired of wiping off the wheels every other day... looks like I'll be trying the ones t-wrench suggested... unless someone else has something proven...

i hated my hawks...they lasted less than 200 miles on my truck before i took them back to the part house and gave them back.
get the ac delco ceramic pads. no dust and they stop just the same. make sure you say ceramic or they will sell you the cheaper pads that dust just like the hawks do.

I have had mine for about a year... I'm just not liking them... I'll be getting some ceramic pads next chance I get I guess... especially if they stop the same. I'm just tired of my truck looking like it just ran the 24hrs of LeMans

I regularly see trucks with well over 100,000 on the factory brake pads. one guy with 140,000(must drive like a grandma). And fwiw the ACDelco pads are not the same as the gm pads on the 05 newer trucks. The gm one's are gm only.
