I will check them tomorrow.
Do you think that the brake and ABS lights I am having are due to this odd brake wear problem?

The ABS light will set a trouble code. Most common problems are wheel speed sensors. I would say the lights are not related to abnormal wear.

I pulled out my trusty Harbor Freight code reader and it did not show any trouble codes.

Crappy factory rotors, mine did the same thing. I had the rotors replaced under warranty and the new set did it too. Replaced them myself with some aftermarket "performance" rotors, and they're still going strong some 7+ years later

How does your brake fluid look? Is it full? I've seen the lights come on just from low brake fluid. Are your brakes noisy?

My factory rotors did it, too. I cleaned them up on a brake lathe, and they did it again. If EBC makes replacements, that's what I'm getting. My mom's Cobalt did the same thing and I replaced them with EBC, they're great now. It must be some awfully crappy metal that GM used.

I pulled the rotors off today. The pads were only making contact with half of the rear side of the rotor. The fronts were a little better at 2/3 clean contact area. I can't believe I didn't have braking problems.
Until I get new rotors, I sanded the old ones down. They will work for now.
Here are some pictures.
