Another sub $1000 option is Praise Dyno. I'm on my second set of frozen rotors and pads on my Tahoe. They are stock size slotted rotors with their own pads. Both are cyro treated for improved hardness. Noticed a good improvement in braking particularly during high speed braking. They seem to last around 50K in my truck but I'd rather sacrifice longevity for better braking. If I recall I get 4 rotors and pads shipped to my door for ~$700. Check them out PraiseDyno

I did the Baer rotors today. I didn't get the upgraded calipers becuase that was way more $$. These are 14" if I remember right. I haven't done the rears yet because Summit sent me the wrong pads for the rear Heres a b4 and after. The install was pretty simple.

sorry if this is late to chime in.....wondering how much of a diff they made stopping.. i have a tahoe with 24s on it too and the brakes need to be addressed.

To be honest I haven't really noticed a big difference yet. BUT I have still not put on the rears. I have the right pads now, I think. I just need time to the brakes and a tranny pan swap. Gonna take a day off work next week and finish up. Once I get all 4 corners done and broke in I will give them a little testing The pads (Hawk) did start to squeak under light braking today, that's annoying. Gonna have to clean them up and see if it stops.

I have 20's on my Tahoe and really need to do a brake upgrade. How effective is the Power Slot rotors over stock??? I was thinking about the Bear brakes too. Is there a comparison on stock and aftermarket brakes. Just to see which one is the better buy??

What he said. haha. I have been looking at brakes as well but dont want to have to run 20" year around. I am thinking of going with the ssbc brakes seems like a good price. Any opinions?

I have the Baer Alumasports up front( 2 piston calipers, 14" rotors) and just the eradispeed rear rotors out back. My truck stops great compared to stock. I paid $1000.00 up fron and like $450.00 for the rear rotors and mounting bracket for the calipers.
